We are the central service for scientific publishing at DESY and actively promote Open Access as part of DESYs Open Science strategy. As a founding member of join² we develop an innovative publications platform with our international partners and host with PubDB our own instance.

To further cost transparency DESY Library on behalf of join² applied together with Bielefeld University Library and Regensburg University Library for the DFG project „openCost".
